Payton says Lattimore was third or fourth player on board

On grades, Payton says Ramczyk was in the top half of first round. Next pass rusher was in round two

not just the saints board. I didn't see Lattimore falling to 11 on any mock worth a flip.

Ramczyk was the top rated tackle and was projected anywhere from 10-25 so was great value at 32.

He's right the next pass rusher is a 2nd round grade.

Exactly how I thought considering the picks.

Lattimore was no-brainer IMO. Ramczyk had to be mid-1st grade.

"As much as anyone in this class, Ramczyk has rare feet and movement skills for a big man. If he dropped 50 pounds, it wouldn’t surprise me if he could become an NFL-caliber tight end. The Wisconsin tackle also has the elite production to back up his hype; he was the highest-graded FBS tackle in 2016, allowing 12 QB pressures all season long."

the whole draft made no fricking sense.

everyone became reactionary

from QB, WR, RB, LB, and DL were ALL reactionary to each other. when one person picked it, they all tried to get in on it.

Lattimore wasn't seen as realistic and he fell in our laps

Every team has different needs and draft according to the picks ahead of them. Strategies change and players fall sometimes. A team targeting a player for the first half of round 1 but he falls to 32 means jack shite

Every mock I have seen has Ramcyzysyzk at around 36-40. Love the pick though. He would not have been there for us at 42. Perfect draft so far as far as I can tell.

The only question I have about him is if he really wants to play foodball since he walked away to be a welder.

Omg, stfu.

We have the dumbest fricking fans on earth.

We weren't going to reach for a de with a second round grade when we pick again at 43. Even if we took Barnett at 11, all of the round one corners were taken by 32. They did the right thing. We were going to take a lineman anyway.

So your draft board is better than theirs are? I mean you said he's ridiculously overrated so I assume you've done the proper leg work there
