Ryan was surprising last year as the defense improved from the worst in NFL history. But anomalies happen every year. SP must not have done his homework looking at Dallas defense and why he was fired.

If Ryan gets fired, Dennis Allen is probably hired shortly after. We aren't taking a chance on a college guy (Muschamp/Pellini), and are any "big name" potential DCs going to be interested in the job after we went through 3 in 5 years?

I would think also that SP should look to replace his OC. And trade his entire offensive line for any deceased offense line in the 1960s.
