Cooks is worth more than the 18, and he is still very valuable to us at his cost and effectiveness. We need more than this

graham we got a great player AND a low 1st. that's better value than straight up 18 imo and cooks should demand better than jimmy.

that god all these BS scenarios made up by guys who have no idea about anything and are in their basements making up "what if" scenarios just trying to get clicks, will be over soon now that trades can actually happen tomorrow and we might get some sort of "real" info about things going on for a change

Hendrix is the blogger who was hired by th Herald. If they saints are offered 18 they take it. Bottom line

a lot of the bigger guys sit on news because the Saints will blackball the frick out of reporters if they leak stuff. Hendrix has nothing to lose because he is trying to make a name for himself. I have little doubt the Saints declined the 18th.

That's something believable at least. Who do they have that we'd want on defense or offensive line?

At the very least a comparable deal, but likely more given the difference in initial investment and age at the time of trade.

18 alone is not enough and will not happen. I'll ban myself for a year if it does.

There are plenty of Eagles fans that feel that 18 is too much and very unlikely to happen. I would've personally been happy for an 18th while not giving up our 11th.

On Titans message boards I came across a trade combo that sounds attractive to me...

Cooks + #11

for

#5 + #18

They're also throwing around Kevin Dodd as a possible player. He doesn't look like much even though he was the #33 pick last year. From rotoworld-
Titans placed OLB Kevin Dodd on injured reserve with a foot injury, ending his season.
Dodd underwent "preventative" foot surgery in May, and could require another operation. A rookie second-rounder, Dodd played 179 highly-ineffective snaps before going down. His health will be a question mark heading into 2017. LB Justin Staples has been promoted from the practice squad to take his roster spot. Old for a rookie (24) with limited athleticism for his position, Dodd could quickly verge toward "bust" status. Mon, Dec 5, 2016

Nothing, that's the funny part. They view Cooks as less valuable than Titans fans do. Many of them think that Cooks is barely worth the 32nd pick.

Solomon Thomas/Hooker at #5

Cunningham/Taco Charlton at #18.

If true, it's only because of the non-football issues in play.

On paper, he's worth more than that.

What's so funny. OAM is much more accurate than the guesses that you have made.
