Another name worthy to keep a watch on. Also like to mention the Hooker S from Ohio St.

It depends on the system Peppers plays in & how he is used in that system. I see the potential to be more of a Cam Chancellor type safety than a Mathieu type safety because Peppers hasn't shown the raw turnover forcing skill set yet that Mathieu possesses.

What is #1 priority? CB, LB, DL or Safety?

locks. This shite is so fluid up until the day of the draft, and there are still 2-3 surprises.

We'll know after the combine for sure with Barnett. He has elite production, if he backs that with solid numbers he won't be around at 11.

Garrett, Allen, Barnett - 3 guys im comfortable saying are top 10 locks.

Could make a case for any of them, but I'm going with a tie between LB and DE

I think I saw a B/R mock had us taking Barnett at 11... would fap. Foster, Williams, Garrett, Allen were all off the board.

the last couple of drafts they were in a good position to select a good defensive player but they opted to take Andrus Peat and then Anthony. They drafted an undersized defensive lineman last year when they could have made another position higher priority. I rather have Jonathan Allen than Sheldon Rankins.

Another Safety?

Regardless, Cunningham, Solomon Thomas, Derek Barnett or at least someone will be available at 11.

I wouldn't mind picking up Cunningham and then turnaround in Round 2 and pick Raewkon McMillian, LB out of Ohio State. You would think we would hit on at least one if not both.

Both are considered some of the best coverage LBs in the draft.

Speculation is mute until we make some splashes in FA. Hell, we might go after a DE or CB in FA and we draft abunch of LBs.

Or we might sign a bunch of LBs and draft DE's and CBs. We won't know until FA hits

We don't NEED a safety. I want Barnett, foster, Cunningham, and I wouldn't mind Williams or Solomon Thomas.

Desmond king, or adoree Jackson in the second

Sounds about right but I do NOT want Tim Williams. He's got 3-4 OLB written all over him and he's already 23.

I'd be fine with any combo front 7 players in rounds 1-2 and possibly round 3 too and then draft an OL in the 4th. But we might go OL in the 3rd

Then we'd be looking for 2 guards and Brees wouldn't be alive with a line of:

Kelemete-Lelito-Unger-Evans-Strief

Some of you are ridiculous in not realizing how steady and solid Peat has been this year, having to move to and from LG-LT on a week to week basis yet has ranked above average overall.

Anthony I can agree on, most here wanted Kendricks

And you're really going to complain about a player from a 2016 draft vs a player who has yet to be drafted? Seriously? Rankins has been damn disruptive. 9 games, 4 sacks, lots of pressure as well. He isn't a sleaze in the run game either. That's above average production as a ROOKIE.

What other player should we have picked instead of Rankins?

Tunsil? He's been more up and down than peat's rookie year. Lets also forget the whole stupid video too

Neal? As if we need ANOTHER safety

Lawson? hasn't even played that well

Oh wait, you wanted Treadwell, Nkemdiche, Butler, Garnett, or Idefi...they all have played like shite

I'd love have any of these players but I think they are likely all gone with the exception of Williams.

The only 3 positions I would even consider drafting at #11 would be DE, LB, & CB. If the coaches don't like any of the DE's or LB's left at #11, then I say go for a CB(if they're high on a guy) or trade down. Personally, I'd wait until round 2 or 3 to draft a CB...if we decide to go that route instead of using free agency.

As of right now, the 4 guys that I'm targeting are Myles Garrett, Jonathan Allen, Derek Barnett, & Reuben Foster...and all could realistically be gone by the time we pick. I acually wouldn't complain if we traded up to the 8th pick to get Barnett. He fits our need perfectly.

I want no part of Tim Williams or Jabrill Peppers. Still a long ways to go until April...so my opnion will be changing along the way.

Feels like Barnett played himself out of our range this past week. Everyone is talking about him.

I have seen a lot of consensus that he really isn't a top 10 pick. But we will see.

Dear god a lot of our fanbase would have a fricking meltdown if that happened though

I don't think we need to use a 1st pick on a safety. We drafted Bell last year and I'm sure they will restructure Byrd deal so he will be back. I see us going with a DE or CB with that pick.
