The whole reason we are looking at Parcells is becuase the transition would be the easiest for everyone involved, not becuase Parcells is white.
I love it when white people are racists when these types of things occur, but its affirmitave action when it occurs to blacks..... Equality in USA......

The Rooney rule is dumb anyways. If a team passes on a good coach that is black, they are a bunch of idiots, and it'll bite them in the arse eventually.

I hate this rule but never paid it much attention.
SO
Each team has to interview a minority first. What if that minority accepts the job. The league would then be full of coaches that were not intended for the position. How does the guy feel during the interview knowing he is just there for protocal? I do not get it.

The rule says you have to interview, not offer a job.
