I don't see a combined 12 wins here:

San Francisco 49er's.
Washington RedSkins.
Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

If you say Saints, list a reason.

That actually probably helps them. I think they'll be around 8-8 to be honest. Their defense will be very good. On offense they do have some talent, their weakness has been QB. Geno is awful.

Plus, it seems like about 1/2 the locker room thinks he deserved it.

I believe the 49ers could scrap out eight wins if some things bounce their way, but most likely a six win season at most.

Redskins tried to make some moves. RG3 is their downfall. Dumpster fire.
49ers will be moderate. Won't make the playoffs. But will have a chance late in the season. Still a lot of talent on that team.
Rams are still a year away. They'll be making a move for a QB sometime this year. Could probably go for Mett or Cousins in my opinion.
Cleveland is going down hard. That whole team is just everywhere.
Jets have a good defense that will keep them competitive.
Raiders are my dark horse for wildcard. :). Defense and mainly secondary will be their downfall.
If Tennessee trades Mett, which they will, it's over. They sold their soul. They have no choice but to run with Mariota.
And Tampa Bay. Great offensive talent. That defense though.

NFC south will be a dumpster fire again.

The Bears have the potential to really fall apart and have a five wins or less season.

I'm 99% sure it won't be as bad as last season. We won't see a division winner with a losing record again. Remember when the NFC West was considered awful? Seasons like that where an entire division is that bad is an anomaly.

I personally see the Saints and Panthers competing in the 7-9/8-8 range.

But to answer OP, The 49'ers will finally be awful

Lester, watch out for Oakland.
They finally have a squad and a decent QB.

This. Derek Carr is legit & will be a top 10 QB in the league in the next 2-3 years. He now has two good receivers in Amari Cooper & Michael Crabtree along with a solid running back in Latavius Murray. Also Khalil Mack is a stud on the other side of the ball.

on the opposite end, I think Minnesota has a chance to be really good. Teddy is very Russell Wilsonesque IMO

Agreed. The Vikings have quietly built one of the best defenses in the league & now they get Peterson back to take pressure off of Bridgewater. That team is going to be a surprise & will challenge Green Bay for the NFC North. Not only that but teams are going to dread playing outdoors in Minnesota come late November/early December.

I think you, like the Jets front office, are vastly under-rating Rex's impact on the defense. It's no coincidence that he produced some of the league's best defenses in his tenure with New York. I still think they'll be on the top end of the pile this year, but the decline will be very real over the next few years.

We shall see this year if can be as good. But if he can; you're absolutely right. Minnesota with a fresh AP and young D will be a force.
