I'm here in Houston and they are 2-0 so Saints do not exist here. Anything made of this? Local NO press? Just coaches bitching? Give me the inside scoop.

Its common knowledge that Payton is one to be avoided on the sidelines...especially if you're the coordinator and the defense has just cost the team another game.

An 0-2 team collapsing on itself from every angle with a big headed coach with an ego problem and a defense that went from top 5 to bottom 5.

Scored 34 and 24 on the road with leads in the fourth quarter.

Current Rankings:
Passing: 6th
Rushing: 5th

Pass D: 32nd
Rush D: 22nd

Can you see a difference? Come on, i'm sure if you look real hard...

Sorry goat but it's the truth. Defensively we just can't hang right now.

All phases, coaches and players are failing to me.

Everyone can blame it all on Rob but I believe that to be incorrect.

And i say the defense as a whole. I'm not blaming just the secondary. The D line could make life easier for everyone if they could mount a decent rush.

Our entire team can't hang right now. We are failing as an entire unit totally and completely and both coaches share in that blame.

How is the offense such a failure? It can be improved for sure, but for two games on the road they've played well.

I don't see the entire team failing, sorry. The defense can't stop anything. There's no pass rush yet again and PRob is getting picked on.

The offense and special teams are doing their thing as usual IMO. The playcalling can be a little bothersome, but they'll get the points.

Bullfrickingshit. Our defense is the primary reason we are 0-2. Well, that and Brees pick six and 4th down sack to take us out of field goal range.

The offense is not as good as it can be and certainly is not on the level of our 2011/2009 versions, but they've played well enough to win both games. If blame is being distributed, how can you not give the defense the lions share? Again, not just one defensive unit. The defense as a whole has been bad.

One thing i will give Ryan this week is that he made more adjustments at halftime than he did against Atlanta. A win at home may be the spark that bring the universe back into alignment for this team.

Brees threw a pick 6 this game and threw an int last game. He has cost us points in both games. So the offense is a problem also. How do you have 170+ yds rushing and still lose? Just face it, the season is over before it ever began.

Only 23 teams out of 198 have advanced to the postseason (11.6 percent) when starting 0-2 since 1990, according to Fox Sports.

Only four of those teams (2.0 percent) advanced to the Super Bowl, with three of those teams actually winning the NFL's prized possession (1993 Cowboys, 2001 Patriots, 2007 Giants).

Our RB coach has been pretty solid.

OK

We had like 9 yards pass off in the 1st Q. (not def fault)

Browns Off had a short arse field the entire 1st half to work with (not def fault).

Brees threw 3 TD's 1 to the other team (not def fault)

Brees takes sack and puts us out of field goal range on last drive. (not def fault).

Just a few notes from the game.

I'm looking at the game as a whole, not picking out single plays.

The offense scored on 4 of its last 6 drives and 5 of those 6 were sustained drives which gave the defense a break.

The offense also took the lead twice in the second half, but of course the defense gave it back both times.

And even though Drew was sacked to move out of FG range, he drove far enough to where Moorestead pinned them inside the five. So the defense were in position to stop a suspect quarterback missing his top WR, TE and RB and yet he was able to drive down field and win the game.
