I don't blame him for being pissed. He can't negotiate a new contract and is in limbo while the whole world knows he won't be wearing a Saints uniform next season.
If he's going to be traded, they need to get it done. The man had a lot of options when he left the Chargers and chose us; we need to show some respect and end this...one way or the other.

And he's showing understandable disappointment because being a player in that position kinda sucks.
He'll be fine once the trade happens and he has some certainty.

Agreed, but I don't blame the team for trying to get the most value for him. Due to his signed contract he is an asset of the New Orleans Saints and they have every right to get the most return on him they can.
Obviously any person can see why he would be upset but publicly complaining will not benefit him at all. Enduring the complaints of a disgruntled player you're shipping out is easily worth the draft pick they receive.

I really think they're trying to work something for him. Likely have multiple small offers and probably trying to get the best deal by playing it close to the vest.
