Maybe Loomis could give him options on where he would like to go and possibly send him there if the picks are manageable.

I have no doubt they were listening to trade offers because there is no drawback in doing so, but that were actively shopping Sproles because he was going to be released whereas Thomas never was.

he wants to be released so he can get a new contract. if he's traded the team only has to honor that year on his deal. can't say i blame him.
