If any of the top 3 drops we are going to do it.
We almost did it with Brees/Mahomes.
Common nfl practice - Favre/Rodgers/Love, Smith/Mahomes, etc.

We aren’t drafting him. We will draft a player that suffers from injuries that has “tremendous upside”.

Mahomes was a bit more under the radar than Daniels.
JD won’t make it out of the top 2 unless those refuse a trade.
For the Saints - they have to trade Lattimore, another player, and probably 2 1sts to get it done.
They don’t have a Ditka move in them.

2 examples =/= common
Derek Carr started game 1 for the Raiders and wasn’t even a first round pick.
Eta Mahomes was a true Jr only 21 when he was drafted considered more of a project. Daniels is a 5 year college starter already 23. It would be a colossal waste to sit him. He will start game 1 next year

That’s probably not enough
SF traded 3 firsts and a 3rd to move up to 3 in 2021.
Carolina gave up 2 1s and a 2nd plus DJ Moore
