here are your stats that show who is more VERSATILE. Because that is what we were talking about. who is more versatile.These are carreer stats.
Brandin Cooks
receiving - 11.8 yds/catch 60.7 yds/gm 7TDs
Rushing - 10 rushes 7.0yd avg 1TD
Punt Return - 10 returns 3.5 yd avg long of 15yards
Kick Return - 1 return 12 yards
passing - no stats
Jarvis Landry
receiving - 9.4 yds/catch 52.9 yds/gm 7TDs
rushing - 14 rushes 6.5 yd avg 1TD
Punt Return - 46 returns 9.4 yd avg long of 69 1TD
Kick Return - 43 returns 27.3 yd avg long of 74
passing - 1/1 for 9 yards with a 100% completion percentage
Yall wanted stats and i think they speak for themselves. The receiving and rushing stats are very similar but besides that Jarvis contributes alot more to his team by fitting into many different roles. What is the word to describe that? oh..... versatility.

So according to that, Cooks is a better receiver and rusher than Landry, despite missing half of his rookie season to injury.
Cool. That's what we drafted him to be, a receiver. It would be retarded to put your WR #1 on punts and Kickoffs

that is why the stats were in a per game format genius. They were very similar. I dont know if you can remember because your attention span doesnt seem to be too long but we were discussing which player was more versatile. the stats clearly show landry is more versatile. As to your notion that "it would be retarded to put your #1 WR on punts and kickoffs", tell that to the steelers and antonio brown. they have done it for years with resounding success and without antonio getting hurt. The saints dont play brandin cooks on returns anymore because he was not good at returns. a 3.5 yd avg on punt returns is terrible and he had 10 attempts.

Wow! 10 attempts
Crazy how Sproles wasn't a good returner with the Saints (8.0, #23 and 6.7, #19) and then goes to Philly (13.0, #1 and 14.7, #1) and blows up.
He clearly sucked at returning punts

both of those sproles stats are double brandin cooks' production and i dont think any saints fan would say darren sproles "sucked" at punt returns. keep reaching though.

We finished 17th, 26th, and 30th in punt returns from 2011-2013.

again, when i said versatility I meant it as far as running routes. returning punts and kicks does not give him any value as a WR.
Antonio Brown is the best WR in the league, because he is a great WR, not because he return punts.
Patrick Peterson is one of the best CBs in the league because he is a great CB, not because he can return punts.
It says enough that you have to try and build Landry up because he plays special teams too. His body of work as a WR doesn't stand well on its own compared to most other WRs.

It's a punt return bro. You make the first man or two miss(which Cooksy obvi couldn't do) and then run to space. Even a 7-8 yd average shows that you're at least getting upfield some of the time.

Im with you. Anyone whom thinks cooks is > or = to jarvis at this point is delusional. Only reason they even look remotely close on paper is bc one of them plays with Tannehil. What the frick are ya'll smoking?

What games are you watching. Dude is Mr. Consistent. Catches everything thrown is way. Is top 10 in NFL in receptions currently.

You are getting a complete player though. Can lay the wood on ST, can return punts to the house, and is a damn fine wr. Still pissed they didnt draft him. And i think we can question the coaching staffs draft abilities since most of them havent worked out.
