That last play, if that's Browner, he gets a flag.

I prefer Cooks over Landry

Not me, Landry is a STUD. But I guess its all preference. Plus im a major homer, and we could have gotten him in the 2nd rd as well.

he's not a stud, especially all capitalized. but he is a pretty good slot WR. top 5 in the league id say

Hopkins over Vacarro, now that would be something

I like Cooks... he'll keep getting better.
but..... usually when the Saints have traded up for a player in the 1st Round it hasn't paid off long term.
hope Cooks bucks that trend. He has a chance to do something with some favorable matchups on the schedule for the rest of this year.

anyone over Vaccaro
Vacarro is doing decently this year. Not as good as his rookie season, but certainly not as bad as last year. Last year iirc he was the worst rated starting strong safety in the league.

bleh. he makes roman harper look like ronnie lott

I'm not bashing Cooks in the slightest. I like him a lot.
But if you had the option between Cooks & SJB or Verrett & A Robinson/Landry, you wouldn't think twice

I'm still rustled we passed on Robinson.

Definitely not as bad as last year but he doesn't do much besides make tackles past the 1st down marker. He's inherited Harper and Jenkins' aversion to creating turnovers.

I really liked Verrett and Jordan Matthews/Jarvis Landry. This isn't hindsight bullshite as my posts before the draft will say the same thing. I like Cooks and wasn't mad we got him. I didn't like trading up to get him though. I also liked Robinson and Moncrief, but I thought Jarvis or Matthews would have been great for us. Benjamin scared me with his droppsies but in hindsight seeing how we got rid of JG and Colston falling off, KB would have been a great pick for us.
Point is, we need a player like Verrett and all the receivers I mentioned above are nearly as good or better than Cooks and some could be true #1's. Cooks will never be a #1 but we paid that price for him and suffered on D some more because of our shite bird FO choosing SJB. Had we gone CB first and WR second, we'd all be a lot happier with the results.

I'm more that way about Jarvis. And while still early so who knows if he stays shitty, but surprised the Saints didn't look at Strong in the 3rd this year.
