Sproles as the 3rd down back because he's not as good in pass pro
Hate to nitpick but I'm pretty sure I've heard he's actually good at that. Unless they just send someone who is twice his size and they just pick him up

Gonna help squash that one too, I've read statements by Drew and other former/current Chargers saying Sproles excels at pass protection.

“The protection part is where Darren excelled,” Turner said. “He’s one of the best protectors (in the league). I’m sure when New Orleans looked at the tape they said, ‘We’re going to sleep a lot better at night knowing our quarterback is being protected.’ We’re going to have to find someone to step up to do those things.”

1a: Offensive Line
1b: Defensive Line
It all starts up front. Kind of a cop out but thats just my opinion. On a side note, I think the fact that Jahri Evans has not missed a game in his career speaks volumes. Also, John Stinchcomb has not missed a game since being thrust into the starting line up in 2006.

I think it was obvious by how poorly the defense (secondary in particular) played in the playoffs that it's easily Jenkins.

Great link. I stand corrected. I guess I thought by his stature he wouldn't be as good in protection but that's good to hear

Offense - Colston, we don't have anyone nearly as physical as him to make catches in traffic, especially with Shockey gone.
Defense - Jenkins. See last year

+1 - This is what worries me with LSU this year.

Well, if we want to believe camp hype, Patrick Robinson is playing really well, so losing a CB wouldn't be a major drop off.
Who is Jenkins' backup? Exactly. Its easily Jenkins.

Jenkins is our safety net to allow our heavy blitzes on D. Our entire D is based off of the talents of our Free Safety. We have good depth at corners.
