It also would be if Newton has a bounce back year because last year he was maybe borderline top 20. Iirc it was his worst statical year overall

Newton's only good year as a passer was his MVP year. Every other year he's been anywhere from mediocre (last year) to ok.

59.8% completion his MVP year

The dude is mediocre at best as a passer. If you took away his feet, allowing the D to play normal coverage, dude would be close to a detriment

That wasn't my top 15. It was a list of QBs that are or can easily be argued are better than Wilson. It was 13 players.
My mistake, it was only your top 13. Thought I asked for your Top 15, my mistake.

While you continue to ignore all evidence and facts placed before you, I'll just remind you again that you had Kirk Cousins in your Top 13 - which included 3 guaranteed HOFs. Believe me when I say I'm not against Cousins as a good QB, he'd be one of my options for Saints if Brees really FAs. But... your dismissal of Wilson is... lack of better words... dumb. Dumb. Truly, simply and unequivocally dumb.

Well the older he gets and the more hits he takes, the less he can rely on his legs to make plays. If he doesn't learn to improve his passing he's going to be a useless player in his mid 30s.

It already started. He had by far his worst year rushing, and by far his worst year completion % wise.

But I expect him to trend back towards his norm and hit between 58-60% of his passes for around 3,600 yards. Not sure he get back to around 500 yards rushing though.

I think Wilson is significantly better than average. Wilson has also had pretty poor and cheaply crafted offensive lines the past few years

This is 100% correct. Obviously Brees is the better pocket passer, but a healthy Russell Wilson is capable of things outside the pocket only Aaron Rodgers can do.

Cam is more physically gifted, but Wilson is a smarter player. I'd probably take Wilson over the course of their careers.

If Wilson didn't have a shite OL then he'd have an avg defense incapable of bailing them out soo

If he says that Wilson isn't top 10 but is top 15 then he doesn't need to list 15 qb's who are better than him. Listing 13 who are definitely better would demonstrate that he isn't top 10 but is maybe top 15. And i'm someone who thinks that Wilson is probably top 10. You are forcing me to explain how counting works to you. You are better than this.

but he does have the mobility to compensate for it a bit.

Relying on mobility to make up for deficiencies is a short term success story in the NFL. Wilson is obviously a solid player. But I will NEVER understand why players, at the top of their game, leave a stable situation to go to an unknown, only to see their career turn into shite..all for a few dollars.

Time and time again, I see all world players change tea.s and become an afterthought.

It's not like track, where if you change teams, you'll still run fast. A good fit on a TEAM is needed for your success
