I think we need to have a discussion about Gayle Benson’s future as owner

Not just of the Saints but the Pels too. A lot of complacency. No sense of urgency. Letting guys like David Griffin, Loomis feel too safe and secure in continually making the wrong moves and staying stagnant. Sure, she’s willing to spend money for contenders but it also feels like she’s too nice and is letting Griffin and Loomis run things, which has proven to be…not successful.
When will she realize SHE might also be part of the problem?

Her behavior is like many other owners of professional sports teams. They don't get involved because it's a hobby, not a job. Jerry Jones is the exception.

No. I’m just questioning whether or not she needs to step up and be a leader and hold Loomis and Griffin accountable for being shitty and make changes there if needed instead of them fricking off

Unless you want both teams to relocate, you don't want her to sell. Nobody is going to spend money on a team based in a city as deplorable as New Orleans.

Well, Mickey Loomis has overseen BY FAR the best run in Saints history. He’s not perfect but he’s not a bum either. There’s plenty reason to have faith in him if you’re Gayle Benson…until there isn’t.
Is Dennis Allen going to be the backbreaker for Loomis? Yea, maybe. But what the Saints have done is a frickton better than a lot of other organizations and there are significantly worse owners out there.

Not wrong. The Saints are about to have to go into an honest rebuild and attendance will drop. It's inevitable. Given the stadium situation, coupled with poor poor attendance would likely be enough ammunition for the Saints to relocate.

Just a little attempt at humor dude. But a serious question that I don’t know the answer to: Who would the teams have gone to if not Gail? Are you saying there were stronger candidates in the family? Would the teams have been sold and moved out of town?

It’s pretty simple. She has people at the top of both organizations that she trusts, whether they’re deserving of her trust is up for debate, and she largely allows them to freely run the organizations.
