The New Orleans Saints main value to the NFL has been that they have been in a great destination city to host superbowls. But now the Superdome is an outdated relic of a stadium and NOLA’s appeal as a destination is trending in the wrong direction.

If you are a hardcore Saints fan you should be thankful Gayle is still the owner. If she sells, it is a real possibility the team gets moved.

Rumor was she liked to party, and she also had children. I’m not sure why her sexual orientation is relevant either way.

Tom had set her up to take over the team before he met Gayle. Gayle & herself did not like one another & senile Tom picked Gayle

If Gayle sells the team, Tom Benson’s will means nothing to the new owners.

As far as I know there is nothing in Tom's will regarding relocation but there is in Gayle's will. She has publicly stated she will not sell or move the team during her lifetime and the plan is to only sell from her estate to someone who gives assurances they will not move the team.

Of course, any of those things will only fly so far, including someone assuring they will not move the team and then selling to someone who will. Unless New Orleans gets it act together, I think a move is inevitable, I just hope it is years down the road.

OKC or San Antonio Saints. God I hope not.

Sooner or later, she will sell the Saints and the Pelicans and the new owners will move the teams to larger, more lucrative markets.

Well, Mickey Loomis has overseen BY FAR the best run in Saints history. He’s not perfect but he’s not a bum either. There’s plenty reason to have faith in him if you’re Gayle Benson…until there isn’t.

Mickey Loomis hit on Payton who hit on Brees. That’s really it. He is fat and happy and it’s time for him to move on.

He had his faults but I miss the old man. At least we know we had a leader the NFL owners respected. I don’t know why Gayle hasn’t sold and bought an island to sail to on her yacht.

I'd hit it.

If you're 10-20 years younger than Gayle, get on it.

People can’t get out of Cali and St Louis fast enough

And San Antonio already has a NBA team

And who is buying the Saints and the relocating them?

Keep in mind, you’re talking about minimum $6 billion to pull that off.

The Panthers sold for $2.275B, then the Broncos for $4.65, and most recently Commanders for $6.05

Then add in at least $600 million in relocation fees plus stadium costs.

This isn’t selling a used fridge on Facebook marketplace

They sued the NFL and Kroenke for breach. They got hundreds if millions in awarded exit fees.

The city, county and airport authority then proceeded to royal rumble for how it would be split up.

First order of business...gave themselves all raises.

Laughable.

That’s not what was the point of my response. I was asked to name 3 cities that were larger, more lucrative cities than NO as a destination. The point wasn’t to name the buyer or the terms. If you think a buyer would pay the bucks for a franchise and leave it in NO your nuts. Those cities I named are possibilities.

She’s keeping the teams here. If she sells all bets are off

One city already has a NBA team and no one wants to live in the other cities
