time for him to go?

I would rather Arrington out there, at least he can catch the fricking ball.

How do you feel about Colston then? He has had his share of big drops too. Including a big one yesterday.

Drew Brees. Time to let him go?

I rather Daniel out there, atleast he can throw to the right fricking team.

blow me.

Henderson is not a good wide receiver and rarely catches the ball cleanly. Comparing him to Colston is fricking laughable. He cost us the Atlanta game with 2 huge drops on perfectly thrown balls by Drew. He is a liability on offense and is a fricking drive killer

You sure it wasn't the 3 pics Brees threw and the missed chip shot by Hartley against atl? The two dropped passes equals 0 yards and a loss of down. That's it. Don't make him a scapegoat for that loss.

he dropped 2 touchdown passed in that game IMO. He's not the scapegoat, but he was one of the big reasons that we lost.

He definitely digressed this year after having a great year in 09... But he's still a solid WR.

DH is Payton's sons favorite player. And his production is equal to what he paid. Those 2 reasons are why he's never going anywhere.

He doesn't bring a lot to the team. He seems to have hit his peak and that was in 2009. Not really a reliable option, even as a third receiver. I would rather have Arrington out there.

Devery isnt going anywhere. They dont pay him a lot and they get decent production out of him. And from what i understand he does a good job blocking on runs. people are freaking out about him but hes just had an average season. does he have drops at bad times? Yes but it can happen to anyone. He was the leading receiver yesterday, 7 catches for 77 yards and he dropped a couple.

There's no defending Devery Henderson after his play this season. He's dropped far too many passes & is a poor route runner. Devery has had one decent season & that was last year when the entire offense clicked week in & week out.

Because he is a body catcher (catches the ball with his body) & runs poor routes, he will never be a dependable receiver especially on underneath routes. His main specialty is the deep ball but he dropped several this year. There's a reason he doesn't get the ball throw his direction much & that's because he can't be counted on at all.

To compare Henderson to Colston is ridiculous. Yes Colston had his share of drops this season but he also hauled in more the 80 passes this season. Also, the routes that Colston runs puts him positions to make difficult catches. Its only an attribute to how highly Payton thinks of Colston to put him running those routes & to Brees for to trust him to make tough catches in a crowd.

It takes a MAN to come down with many of the balls that Colston does. He makes his living getting behind LB's & on top of safeties. That's an area where you better be prepared to take a lick after you get your hands on the ball. Colston's level of difficulty on most catches is more then any on the Saints roster. Outside of Lance Moore, Colston has the best hands of the receiving corp.

Henderson is suppose to be a deep threat but he can't even catch the ball when he's beaten a defender. When a player can't even do his job when his number has been called then, its time for him to go. Meachem has surpassed Devery as the primary deep theat so Devery has become expendable. Plus Meachem is a better route runner & shows up better in the underneath passing game. I am all for giving Arrington a chance to show his talent. The offense can use another receiver who can catch the ball & run good routes.

I am sick of him and would have no problem with letting him go. He just can't catch with any consistency. Arrington looked great in preseason and the Bucs game. Meach can fill Devery's shoes. That is the way to go. BTW comparing Colston to Henderson because Colston has had drops is fricking laughable.

Henderson's value was his speed, and it appears he didn't have it this year. I believe he's heavy and can't break deep like he did in 09.

Arrington is cheaper to keep and younger, so if that's what it comes down to, then let him be the one to make the roster.

Need to replace Devery,Harper,Bushrod,Ayodele, Shanle. Stinchcomb and find a good kick returned. Roby nott he answer and unless Bush takes a big paycut, he can take a hike also.

Devery 34 catches, 464 yds, 1 td
Colston 84, 1023, 7 tds

get a clue. Colston has great hands despite the drops this season, has great size and superior athleticism. Devery is fast. That is it.
