last year we had 31, good enough for 25th in the NFL. 42 would have barely put us Top 10. I say we go big this year, something like 39.

If we stay healthy it should go up a good bit

year 2 of Kikaha, RIchardson and Edebali

Rankins + Fairley could be good for 8-10 combined

Eta: 42

Hasn't Edebali been here longer than that?

He signed with the Saints in May of 2014.

Cam is good for around 11 floor - 13 ceiling
Kikaha I think would be around 5-8
Edebali 3-5
Rankins 4-5
Fairley 3
Richardson 2
Vaccaro - 3 for our best in the box safety

LB's as a whole...there really isn't a threat outside of designed blitzes 6-10 total IMO including reserves.

DB's random 3.

So 40 most likely(Where I am guessing) - 48 being more of where I think our upside potential lies.

i don't like looking at it individually, it comes down to our system and all the pieces working together well. Secondary playing well, giving line more time etc. Its not so much about individuals but about the collective sync of society that we call our Defense.

I feel that by looking at the individuals that are expected to fill certain roles in our defense it can give a decent idea for you to base an estimation from in order to gauge reasonable expectations for production from our collective sync society.
