but if you have a great CB,

This is a personality thing. He's worn out his welcome on the team.

This isn't about his play, value, or rebuilding or anything like that. Remember when Loomis said we just have to deal with some locker room issues? Lattimore and MT13 are the 2 primary guys he was referencing.

I wonder if the Giants wpior do Lattimore, pick 14, and A player for pick 6.

I hope I'm wrong but a 3rd is our likely target for Lattimore.

That’s too much. What are you trying to get with pick 6 that you couldn’t reasonably get around 14?

The top 3 QBs are gone by then anyway.

Now, straight up Latt for a 1st from a playoff caliber team that feels they’re just a better DB from slowing down Mahommes? I could see a team biting on that.

A timeline by me has never been stated contradictingly.

You ignorantly used that as a response to me saying it's impossible to deal with him prior to June 1.

You just didn't even understand the conversation and then used an example you didn't understand how it fit into the conversation to double down.

You've been wearing the double down with a badge of honor for like 2 months now

Negative. Your argument was always why it’s unlikely we trade latt instead of the legit possibility that he’s gonna be traded before the season.

We don't have a target. The other teams offer. We choose or don't to make the deal.

Dennis Allen alienates the team. Lattimore and other players have to be traded for his ineptness.

Yep, that’s how Bill Walsh and Tom Landry did it. Thanks Loomis!

Trading him just doesn’t make sense now that they’re restructuring half the fricking roster. Doubling down on “being competitive” and then trading the best player on our team is definitely something Loomis’s stupid arse would do

We’ve traded malcontents long before Lattimore was even here

I mean June 1 trade frees up money to an extent
2024: 3mil this year (10.6mil dead)
2025: 10mil saved (20.6mil dead)
2026: 18.5mil saved (10mil dead)
2027: 5.5 mil saved (2.7mil dead)

its the unfortunate part we're eating LOTS of money.

But trading him is because we got good value (1st round?) for him to get another quality starter for another 5 years; while securing the next #1 guy in Adebo

I don't see that.

If Jalen Ramsey only got a 3rd, I just don't see an inferior guy with more attitude problems (And likely a demand for a new deal once traded) is going to get more.

Lattimore has been better than Ramsey since at least 2021

Lol what?

If you watch other teams, you'll come to the conclusion that our secondary is very solid, with or without Latt. Pass rush is a problem not DBs.

That should get them at least a high 2nd and some change

Ramey was coming off his worst season in a while. But I still agree we’d get a 3rd round pick. And it’s just not worth it IMO. It would have been if we had gotten rid of DA and committed to a rebuild.

If it’s not a first or second, it just makes more sense to keep him.

Do it, I think this would be a win for the Saints if we can get some value in return for a solid player.

Saints need Picks and cap room, and he needs a new home
