The New Orleans Saints could trade cornerback Marshon Lattimore in the offseason, as "several teams" believe he's available (per ESPN's Dan Graziano and Jeremy Fowler).

Bleacher Report Article

Obviously we all know this already but figured I’d post it since it seems to be making rounds around the league. What could we realistically get as far as draft capital? CB becomes an immediate need the moment you trade Lattimore.

1st round Imho.

28 year old, prime cb. Oft injured, but weird injuries overall. Bulk of his money, we paid for already. He's owed 3/33.7 mil left.

Maybe that should read “should” trade. At least a 1st & two additional picks would work. Definitely a post May trade if it happens.

Not going to get a first, likely.
We are deep at corner, so makes some sense.

Very much so. Taylor and Adebo are both starting caliber corners. Say what you will about Dennis Allen as a head coach, the guy can find talent at defensive back.

I’d hate to see Lattimore go, but if they can get a first for him…

I think they could get #29 from Detroit given the Aaron Glenn connection.

We had a very good secondary without Latt. We are better with him of course.

Trading the best DB and extending the dogshit QB sounds like something the Saints would do.

Just give him away like we’ve done before.

I get losing a great CB to FA, but if you have a great CB, you don't trade him. Ya'll think we are deep and we aren't. One injury and we are in bad shape at CB. Absolutely don't trade Lattimore. Let MT walk sure, but keep ML.

We’re gonna end up trading our top 5 CB for a bag of chips and a coke

Yeah I personally don’t want to trade Lattimore. I like Adebo and Taylor but can you count on either of them to consistently guard the another teams number 1 receiver every week?

It would be difficult to trade him before the draft. We will almost assuredly have to wait until after June 1 to spread the dead cap hit over 24 and 25.

Chad, we're not trading him until after June 1, which is what I said a long time ago. We can't afford to have his full dead cap hit us on 2024. The restructure does nothing to change that fact.
