and he will milk the Saints for every dollar he can get. His extension should have already happened but Drew being the ruthless motherfricker that he is, will play the Saints like a cheap fiddle and pad his already enormous bank account even more.

This happens every day in the real world. If you were in Brees's shoes, would you not go for as much money as you can get? The Saints have profited immensely from Drew's talents while he has been here. Let Drew make everything he can in the remaining years of his Hall of Fame career. He'll be gone from the game in the not too distant future and we will be playing the "remember when" game on this board when he retires.
Drew is the best player to ever wear a Saint's uniform and we may never see another as good in our lifetime.
The problem with the team the last two years has been the dead money in the payroll from stupid contracts to players who are no longer here and dumb free agent signings. Until this works itself out we will be in cap purgatory.
Let's not even get started about failed draft evaluations and drafted players who didn't work out and are no longer around after a year or two.

Look how much Peyton made after neck replacement surgery at that age.
Now look at how much the cap has risen over the last few years.
Now look at the recent QB contracts for Aaron, Eli and Ben.
Drew is going to get >$20 mil a year. Just deal with it.

Kill your fricking self then write a column about it

Milk is a poor choice of words.
Drew being ruthless in negotiating is true I think. But "Motherf@cker" gives it a negative profane slant that only a menstruating teenager would agree with.
He does hold all the cards and the Saints and most fans want him back so you see there is no "cheap fiddle" to play as all sides are on board.
Go back to bed and wake up on the other side and when you do put on a pair of big boy pants and not granny panties

If you would eat more Jimmy John's and take more advocare maybe Drew wouldn't have to do this. It's basically your fault when you really think about it.

Every decent QB in the league "holds all the cards". No team wants to be the one without a QB.

Is he saying anything that's not obvious?
Drew has this good guy imagine, but that guy always maximizes his money.
I'm not saying it's wrong or right, but his imagine and how he does business are two different things.

I wish JazzyJeff would just get banned... No one gives a damn what he has to say and is the biggest negative nancy of all time. I am sorry you were molested when you were young....

And....he should frankly. This is his last big contract and he knows it. I don't blame him. In a world where Osweiler is getting 17 mil/per, he deserves whatever he wants.
He led the league in passing last year despite missing a game..think about that. He would have broken 5k yard for a 5th time. Frankly, he deserves 22-25 mil a year even at 37-39/40.
Everyone has to pay a QB. The days of complaining about that are long gone. What do you around that and how you make it work is what you gets you far.

Also.. you do realize Brock Osweiler just signed a four year deal for 72 million? Brock Osweiler just got that.... Brees deserves 100 million more than that guy and he's prolly asking 22-23 million dollar range which is surely deserved.
