Does anyone have any good news regarding the Saints right now?

After three straight 7-9 seasons, somebody, for the love of God, tell me something good regarding the state of Saints football right now.

Minus maybe 3-4 players we're young and upcoming instead of old and declining.

Brees and the offense is still elite.
Ingram is better than any lsu rb currently
Cooks Thomas and snead make a damn good trio, if healthy could provide 3 1000 yard receivers

We'll have about $40 mil in space with options to create more, and only one FA (Fairley) that would be pricey.
I don't think Loomis ever started with this much cap space under Payton, and with the way things get structured that may as well be $100 mil.

1) We fired the worst special teams coach in the league
2) We fired the worst linebackers coach in the league
3) We fired one of the worst dline coaches in the league
4) Armstead should be healthy
5) Kikaha is doing extremely well
6) We're going to be able to spend $40m this offseason
7) We're super young at most positions

I'm not sure if that is necessarily a good thing.
But yeah, I expect us to be big players in FA.
I expect us to add at least one DL, one CB and one OL.
Would be nice to also make a lot of smaller moves to add some depth to this team instead of us relying on so many damned UDFAs.

If we added Trumaine Johnson, Larry Warford and Chandler Jones then I think we could bypass hope and go straight into fapping mode.
Won't be anymore major news until after the Super Bowl. Saints MIGHT announce hiring of new coaches soon, though. So there's that.
