Ryno can fetch an expiring SF (Green/Chandler) I'm sure

@GerrityJoe: I would trade anyone on the Hornets not named Anthony Davis straight up for Bismack Biyombo.

I was seriously thinking the same thing after Biyombo's last beastly game. I thought it was Felcher, but may have been McNamara.

To be fair, Ryno was quite a bit better for most of the time between that recommendation and now. Biyombo is kind of just starting to figure things out.

ETA: Nevermind then. I still think he was very wrong.

I did say I thought we should go after Biyombo and let Asik expire last offseason.

Though someone said they weren't sure it would of worked financially so who knows.

I honestly wasn't sold on Biyombo last offseason, but I was wrong. Dude was a steal considering what we paid Asik and Ajinca.

I was by no means sold on him but it always struck me as bizarre that we were tying so much money up in a guy who most analysts thought would only ideally be playing 20ish minutes a game and less and less with time as Davis progressed and the league keeps crowding out big men like Asik.

To me it seemed logical to go after a cheaper big body that could give you 10-15 minutes and share with Ajinca and Davis at the 5. Biyombo seemed like the best option for that.

Still don't think biyombo is a starter in this league but would trade him for Ryno in a second

But you don't need a Biyombo as a traditional starter for this team.

Yes he would technically "start" but Davis is still going to get his minutes at the position so a Biyombo type would probably only get 15-25 minutes depending on the night and match up.

Solid bump.

The Pels would be better off finding a Draymond Green than a backup center.

This literally must be the worst time of year when your team sucks, but you have a superstar on the roster. The draft can't get here soon enough.

If we did that proposed deal in 2012, Our fans would've been calling for Biyombo's head long before his breakout playoff performance in 2016

when the dust settles, he's still a guy that averaged 5 and 8.

he's a younger, more athletic Reggie Evans
