Harden is having a down year leadership wise but the guy took a decimated roster to the 2 seed last season. And took HOU to the playoffs with parsons as 2nd best player and asik as the 3rd best player on the team. And lin as 4th best. Has there been a worst supporting cast to make the playoffs this century in the west? I'm hard pressed to find one.

The Pels were worse than that Rockets team. And congrats on being 8th seed?

Anthony Davis last year.

No jrue until the end

Eric Gordon hurt most of the year.

A revolving door at the 3 until qpon came along.

And a worse asik and tyrec playing as well

No I'm thinking more like 6 seed and a win over OKC.

Asik is the same guy. And he was 3rd best. You had persons in year 2. Anderson Tyreke holiday all better than a year 2 parsons.

I was talking about the Rockets team Harden's first season

I'm sorry but the Rockets aren't making the Playoffs this season. Neither are the Pels. At least they'll get a high pick.

Pels future > Rox

Not really debatable.

BUT, I'd take Rockets FO. Which, bottom line, is the much bigger factor in how the future franchises will look.

Ok let's go my 100 to your 20 that HOU makes the playoffs. Easy money for you right?

That is very easily debatable considering the Pels front office could run AD's arse out of town if they can't put a team around him.

You think the rockets can beat okc?

Have you started drinking early?

Barring injury do you want to ban bet that?

Rockets beat them 2 of 3 this year the only game Houston lost they had a comfy lead and Howard was ejected. OKC came back and won that one. Playoff Dwight + harden will be too much for them to handle.

Would you do it for Russell, KD, and Ibaka PLUS they commit long term? Just wondering.

i would.... but Demps wouldn't, unless there was a D-leaguer on a 10 day involved somehow....

I see the Suns losing more than the Lakers down the stretch. So things could get interesting come lotto time.

If the Lakers go into the Lottery #2, they will have a 55.8% chance of keeping their top 3 protected pick from Philly. (1st: 19.9% 2nd: 18.8% 3rd: 17.1%) The 76ers would have a 44.2% chance of receiving the pick, were it to land in positions 4 or 5. (4th 31.9% 5th: 12.3%) If the Lakers go into the Lottery #3… the odds nearly flip, with the Lakers only having a 46.9% chance of keeping their pick. (1st: 15.6% 2nd: 15.7% 3rd: 15.6%) while the 76ers move into a slight favorite position to receive the pick (53.1%), if it lands in positions 4, 5, or 6. (4th 22.6% 5th: 26.5% 6th: 0.4%)

Why does this matter? If the 76ers miss out on #1, it has been mentioned that they would offer Jahlil Okafor and #2 (Brandon Ingram) to move up and take Ben Simmons. That hypothetical mostly fit if the Lakers were picking #1. With Julius Randle at PF, Okafor + Ingram might serve them better than Simmons alone.

Ok. So how much more valuable is Anthony Davis than Ben Simmons? at least one Top 5 pick? and some prospects? Right? Of course. Ok, so when the Lakers finish #3 heading into the Lotto, the balls bounce Philly’s way for that pick and it ends up #4 to 76ers. The balls don’t bounce Philly's way for #1, they get #2.

What’s this? Anthony Davis falls in love with Amber Rose, who wants him to move back to Philly with her and start a family? He demands he get traded to the 76ers? Well.. Ok. It’s Amber Rose ya’ll. The idea of Embiid/AD23 playing big, and AD23/Noel playing small, is just be too much for them to pass up so.....

76ers send: Jahlil Okafor, C - Robert Covington, SF - Nik Stauskas, SG - 2016 1sts #2 & #4
to Pelicans for: Anthony Davis, PF

2016 Draft: #2 Brandon Ingram, SF - #4 Jaylen Brown, SG - #6 Ivan Rabb, PF
Brandon Ingram and Ivan Rabb are BOTH too skinny? NO PROBLEM! It’s NAWLINS YA’LL! Get them boys some Jambalaya, a couple poboys. They be straight. 2017: Pelicans pick: #1 Harry Giles, PF

We find someone to take Asik with Reke. EG walks. Trading QPon, Dante, Ajinca, Everybody. We then need to spend about $65mm+ to get over the cap floor. We want to surround these young guys with good character vets, that won’t help us win too much in 2016-17, so we throw crazy money at Ryan Anderson, Jeff Green, Deron Williams, maybe Ian Mahinmi.

C: Jahlil/Mahinmi - PF: Rabb/Ryno - SF: Ingram/Green/Covington - SG: Brown/Stauskas - PG: Jrue/Deron
Add Harry Giles in 2017-18... Ingram and Rabb get SWOLE, 3-4 years from now… you guessed it… League FCKED!!

That's a terrible trade. Okafor will be a 20/9 guy probably 20/10 for the next decade, and with those picks they can get some VERY good players.

But no, lets trade that so we can have AD and a bunch of scrubs...sounds like a certain team out West that can't get anywhere currently. Pretty sure they pass and don't take any calls from the Pels for 6 months.
