I think we have a pretty likable team. Neither of my roommates are big NBA fans, but I put the games on in the living room. They've both started to like watching them play. It's an easy team to talk about with AD all over the highlight reel. It's just hard to get people to watch a game or two if they aren't big NBA guys. And usually, the big NBA guys already have a team. It's easy to feel how small the market is in our area, but I can see the Pelicans catching fire with LSU students if the tickets stay cheap and our team goes on a few streaks.

Easily. But Jrue, AD, and Ryno are three of the easier guys to like in the league. I think the goal should be attracting LSU students to be fans. Maybe I'm wrong (and biased - I want some friends to watch the games with), but I think targeting college fans will make the Pelicans "cool"

I think we just need that "special season". Everyone wants to be a part of something special... Like Lebron's witnesses or OKC/GS climbing to the top. I think once we have that special season, many fans will hold onto it and be here to stay.

I bought a Saints Nike drifit crew sweatshirt from there last year.
Haven't seen any Pelicans crew sweatshirts. I tried to order a custom one from NBAstore.com a few months ago but they said they were unable to process the order, whatever the frick that means.

Speaking of bad experiences with purchasing gear, I bought a Jrue Holiday jersey shirt as a gift and the package was confirmed to be delivered. Never laid eyes on it. I guess it was snagged off of my porch before I got home.

I was in Nawlins Sports on Sunday night and they had tons of Pels stuff. My gf even asked who the Pelicans were because even she noticed it.
