He definitely does

But Crewz deserved everything thrown back him at him.

Jake, I think people just want clarity on the state of the program. I believe most of what was written, and I understand how a story can sometimes lack details coming from a source.

The piano stuff isn’t even that concerning to me. It’s all the other stuff

Got to ask, who are you? Sounds like you are a person with knowledge of Pelicans!

It’s Jake Madison.

He has a very popular and very good Pelicans podcast.

To my credit, I never once said you were a liar or asked you to explain yourself.

I just said you 100% cant throw a ball in a way that wouldn’t embarrass yourself.

There’s no way that’s true lol. I do not have any recollection of being a primary player in that.

In fact i just went and looked through the last, say 4-5 pages of Crewz posts on this site and all (very few) exchanges between us were basketball discussion, as far as i could find. In fact, i found a few of yall 2 getting pissy at each other.

Perhaps you have my immutable charm confused with someone else.

So a lowly newspaper journalist who has had little to no notoriety to this point comes out with a crazy article depicting Griffin as this weirdo piano guy.
literally every Pels blogger creams themselves and goes overboard telling everyone to go read this piece of true journalism because one of their guys got some unflattering scoop on a guy they don't like. It barely gets picked up nationally tbh because it's a stupid story meant to be a gotcha piece. It always smelled of a former employee or player than had an axe to grind and never should have made it to print.
Cut to today and both parties debunk it and our bloggers want to stick to the story instead of taking the loss. We deserve better.

Zion admitted Griff had a keyboard with him to learn to play. The way he said it was strange.

Holy crap man. Get a grip.

Or start a group chat with your immediate family if all your looking for is agreement , kudos , and attaboys.

Are you really of the thought that if it were true, Zion and Griff would have admitted it?

If Zion really disliked Griff as much as the article portrayed, why would he deny it in the manner that he did?

We haven't learned anything except that Griff's got about nine months to learn how to play Piano Man while Zion poses atop a grand piano with the Larry O'Brien trophy for media in the Pelicans championship locker room.

He could dislike Griff but still want to do what's best for the organization.

In that case he could’ve made the same statement about the city and organization that he did, and then refuse to comment on the Griff stuff.

Piano/keyboard same thing.

Embrace debate: I think playing the piano for zion is way weirder than playing the keyboard for zion

True, or he could have done exactly what he did.

People are not seeing the forest for the trees here. Griff vs. the media is nothing. Zion either not having a problem with the team or being invested enough to cover for Griff for the good of the team is the take away here.

Agreed. I was very curious how zion would show up today. And it was a good first sign
