Deng played a shite ton of minutes in CHI

He played over 2000 minutes in 8 out of 10 years up there(plus nearly 2000 playoff minutes)

Jackson is one of the worst players in the NBA when his contract is taken into consideration. Atrocious advanced defensive statistics.

Well he will have three other big time players playing with him. Maybe he will step up with the team.

So what? We don't know that he will ever be the same after his injury.

If Asik is involved it's worth the risk. Ajinca/Moore...less so.

Thats the real sticking point and I understand that

And yet you still think this would be a good move?

Scotto has made correct calls in the past. I think we can say this was at least discussed.

I don't like it unless it includes Asik or we have a buyout negotiated with him already. If we offload Asik for someone who will actually step foot on the court while keeping our 2018 first I'll be pleased.

Everytime theres a trade thats being "discussed" it seems like it never pans out so probably not

This would be a fantastic trade. Pondexter said he will be ready this season so he can replace Moore's shooting. Jrue played his best next to Frazier and Jackson is way better than Frazier. Jackson is a monster running the PNR and we have the 2 best bigs in the league. Being around some other solid defenders can bring the best out of him on that side of the ball.

Scotto just updated and said that QPon could be included as well

Jackson has been a fricking cancer in the Pistons locker room and Van Gundy (better coach than Al) can't wait to unload his arse. Moore at least fits in with the current team. Everybody wants Dell to do something but holy shite this is far from a good move to make.

I don't love the amount he's getting paid but he could really help this team if he's 75-80% as effective as he was in 2015. He has more upside than lin does who would command a first and bledsoe is better than both but you know his issues.

If Cook/Frank/Diallo are all legit bench guys then it lessens it quite a bit.

That's a big IF for all three of those guys to hit.
