I would think most teams have seen how exposed Kevin Love gets versus teams who go small, or even get him in a PnR. Anderson is a poor man's Love.

maybe he ages into a korver type but korver has size on him
1. Nobody would pay Korver $20M at this point, so why would you pay a guy to "age into" that.
2. Anderson is 3 inches taller than Korver. Korver has better biceps, though.

I wouldn't expect any Pels deals until Free Agency starts up.
I think we are in a bit of a holding pattern until the Jrue situation plays out.

Yup.
Definitely don't see us making a trade, because it seems like the players available that we would be interested in would be PGs.
Maybe some minor middle or end of bench deal, but I don't think anything goes down until we can use that 2018 pick and we have some clarity on the Jrue situation.

Yeah I think the ability to use the 2018 pick is as important as the Jrue decision. I expect any major deal we would swing for Rubio/Bledsoe/Beverley would include the pick.

I think they want to hold onto the pick unless a deal they can't pass up comes along this summer. Just in case things don't work out you want to keep 1 bullet in the chamber so you can make an in season move to save your job again. In season moves are also where Demps has done some of his better work.

Since the Rockets have made Ryno available for trade would you do Asik for Ryno? Oleh from TBW has this very question up on Twitter right now.
I, personally, would try to find a third team to take Ryno if Houston is willing to take Asik (to stretch him of course). We get a late first, maybe (would we get a TPE?). Wonder if Charlotte would be interested? Or maybe Portland if we take Crabbe?

So you're saying we dump our bad contract, have someone else take on Houston's bad contract, and we get a late first? Yeah, I'd personally, do that too. But no other team is that dumb

I am looking at it as two transactions but, yeah, thinking more about it don't think we'd do Houston that solid.

We couldn't even do it because of salary matching.
So unless we are sending them Asik, Ajinca and QPon (which would defeat the purpose for them), I'm not sure how we could even do it.

Small rumors between Mavs and Wolves
They went on to say it could be Rubio and Wes Mathews involved as well.
Wolves feel Zach Collins will still be there and can move back to get him while picking up assets.
