Two meaning Asik for Ryno straight up
And then Ryno for a late 1st or two seconds that have the cap space and need shooting but I could see that failing royally.
So in this scenario Ryno can get a late 1st for us, but Houston trades him to us for Asik straight up? Don't see any contradiction there?

What happened to the Mavs throwing max money at Jrue and signing his brother?
Posted on 6/21/17 at 4:34 pm to DJ3K
I think the mavs want to draft the French kid so the knicks can't get him. That wouldn't explain why Rubio was involved though. If anything happens, it will be draft time so the knicks can't counteract it.

The San Antonio Spurs are open to trading away Danny Green this offseason. The Spurs are interested in pursuing their option in free agency and moving Green would create additional cap space. No deal involving Green is imminent at this time.

Greg Monroe will exercise his $17.9 million player option for the 17-18 season with the Milwaukee Bucks. Monroe averaged 11.7 points, 6.6 rebounds and 2.3 assists in 81 games for the Bucks this past season. Monroe signed a three-year, $50 million contract with Milwaukee in 2015.

Should be pretty easy to move. Has a great contract.

What do you think their asking price will be?
Posted on 6/21/17 at 5:04 pm to Mystictiger
I'm assuming the biggest requirement will be not taking on any guaranteed salary themselves, or at least a minimal amount. They want to be players in Free Agency.

When they needed to create cap space for Aldridge they straight dumped Splitter in Atlanta. I'm sure the market for Green will be better than that, but the Spurs goal is to create space for someone like CP3 so they'll take the best offer they find.

green has 3/30 left on his deal
wont take much cap room to get him; if the spurs decide to dump him it'll take about 15 seconds for some team, to say yes

That contract isn't so cut and dry as you might assume. Green has been pretty steadily declining even on a good SAS team. He turns 30 tomorrow. You have to account for the Pop factor. I honestly wouldn't want that contract on the Pels unless it meant getting out from under Ajinca's this offseason to offset it maybe.

spurs arent going to take back salary
i'd still rather green at 10MM than moore at 8MM

False.
2/20 and the 2nd year is a PO

Ahh well the 3/30 was wrong ,and I know they weren't going to take salary back. I don't necessarily disagree with you about Moore, but in our case I think Green and Moore are relatively redundant. I was just applying the logic if I'm playing GM for a day. That's the only way I'd take a 3/30 for Danny Green. Even though someone listed the correct one below (2/20 with a player option that could go either way) I still wouldn't just absorb it to absorb it.

id rather gamble on Pondexter than take on Green

Are we sure Qpon is even alive though?
