'm at the acceptance stage. I know the offense will be exactly what I want. I was complaining about Monty's offense all year and wanted to run what Gentry runs. So that will make me happy. It will be exciting.

This is where I am also. Here's to a great 2015-1016 season.

I don't understand this hire still. I don't feel like the saints staff had as much influence as what we would have thought. This guy has 2 winning seasons out of his 12 yr coaching history.

He has 4 winning records if you count his partial seasons where he became an interim. He also has made the Western Conference Finals and has .571 winning percentage in the playoffs vs. Monty's .200. I still wanted JVG but Gentry should be an upgrade from Monty and make this a top 5 offense which will improve our NetRating enough that we should jump into definite playoff team rather than fighting for a spot.

Thunder, Blazers, Mavs, ( Maybe Clippers ) and the Pelicans. One of those teams is not a definite playoff team. Who will it be? We shall find out

Going by NetRating it'd be the Grizzlies. But the Blazers and Thunder have a lot of question marks. If Aldridgre leaves or KD doesn't come back then they would be the obvious choices. The Mavs could potentially fall off too.

I agree. I don't feel like it's too much to ask for a 60 year old man with a college education and 35 years of post-graduate work experience to be able to conjugate a verb.

Alvin Gentry kinda looks like Randy Ayers. That'd be funny if they kept him and did a coach swap mid-game

isnt blaming gentry a little short sighted?

How do you even judge his performance as a coach this season?

Gentry has adjusted multiple times this season. They looked like the chess club forced to play in PE the first 5-10 games.

Count the number of years he's been in the league as a HC. Count the number of times he was successful.

I blame Dell Demps for most of this, and his arse should be fired first. Gentry should be given his fair chance.

But I still stand by the fact that he is a bum as a HC and will fail no matter what.
