Friends wife works in their front office.
Frankly I thi it's good because he's not worth more than maybe 15m a year and definitely not 25.

Coming in hot with the spicy draft night sauce.

We cleaned up with nothing exciting in this draft

If at all true, I'm okay with him landing there if they give him 25+ a year. That's a team with a good coach and an owner willing to get after it. Jrue is a good player, but as we've seen isn't going to move the needle if he's your 2nd or 3rd best player. Butler already went to Minny tonight. We don't need any more teams making serious headway up the ranks.

Saw a tweet somewhere that has Dallas' GM saying they weren't targeting a PG in FA because they drafted Smith.

I have no clue if your info is legit, but I was told by a very high up guy in management that we were not resigning Jrue. I would be utterly floored If he signs he with NOLA.

That's unfortunate. We have to go ask in on Patty Mills now.

A thread like this should be deleted or at least have the title be edited. Misleading bull shite.

Good he isn't worth what he's going to get

I may hang out with him in the next week or so and will inquire. This was told to me during the western conference finals...

a 6'2" 19 yo rookie pg isnt stopping the Mavs from making a run at Holiday.
Holiday next to Smith in Dallas makes sense w/ their Flow offense and his defensive ability/versatility. if you are paying Smith/Holiday a combined ~$25-30M annually over the next 4 years, that seems like a decent way to go.
a core of Barnes, Holiday, Noel, Smith is a solid, if unspectacular, start to the post Dirk world
how they get to the $$ for Holiday is the question
