Wtf, dropping before training camp even starts

New Orleans Pelicans guard Jose Alvarado suffered an ankle sprain during a workout this weekend and his availability for training camp is in question, sources tell @TheAthletic @Stadium.

Once again. Should have just started the rebuild now and traded for scoot

Failing to see the connection with this statement.

Yep and people about to find out how betting on a one year wonder season is going to torpedo this franchise.

key roleplayers already gettting hurt. One missing a good chunk of time for sure plus the inevitable injuries of BI and Zion that’s even more likely now with lack of spacing without Trey.

It's on me, but again, I don't see how that fits into this discussion and the 2 injuries we had. Trey and Jose are still getting hurt if we made some trade for Scoot. I highly doubt we wouldn't be saying the same stuff about a curse in that scenario.

Don't even bother with this team. It's the same shite every season.

ah gotcha. I’m saying this as if this is the make or break year for this core. Another .500 season or worse and I think you’d have to blow up the team after 5 years of nothing. Losing Trey and Jose for sometime just increases our chances of losing more games. I don’t know if we get a young player that’s as sure of a thing as scoot this offseason if we did trade one or all of our big 3. Trading for scoot this summer was the proactive move if you’re not confident in BI or Z being able to finish a season and compete during a grueling playoff schedule.

Of course we could be fine but it’s hard to have confidence in the health of this team.

If the season is over because of jose fricking alvarado, we're done before it started.

Losing TM3 is actually scary; losing Jose is meh

You are a little bitch. Every chance you get you say it. It’s especially dumb considering it wasn’t on the table to begin with

Gotcha, that makes sense then.

Don't agree with your overarching take
, but I follow where you were going with your initial comment now.

Some random person has a tweet from 2 days ago saying jose sprained his ankle 2 days ago in a 1 on 1 session with a fan in China.

Cool cool.

This happens to a backup PG on any other team and Shams doesn’t even bother tweeting it out. He tweeted because he knew everyone would react just like they did. It’s a sprained ankle. They all probably sprain their ankle once an offseason

Didn’t Scoot get hurt like 5 minutes into Summer
League?

If Shams gets news that any NBA rotation player has an injury that'll sideline him for camp, it's definitely getting reported on.
