I don't see the supposed risk - PrayingMantis
With Cousins being traded he lost tens of millions of dollars. He will stand to lose more if he doesn't resign in 2018. Couple that with he will be able to play next to AD and finally make the playoffs, I don't see him going anywhere....

re: Wouldn't both sides benefit? - PrayingMantis
Is rondo's contract next year non guaranteed? New Orleans would tank more and get a better pick, get a 15-20 pick most likely and I'm pretty sure Rondo isn't guaranteed. Plus Jimmy Butler and Wade won't want to tank and Jrue would work well with the Bulls because it gives them perimeter shooting a...

re: Why do people buy/drive trucks? - PrayingMantis
On a track yes and maybe occasionally momentarily speed. But unlike 90% of truck drivers and really all drivers tbh I actually use my blinker and go the speed limit. ...

re: Why do people buy/drive trucks? - PrayingMantis
I'm not claiming it's practical. I'm saying the people who get a truck because they think they aren't a man without one have the ghey. I like the saying smiles per gallon. So either I'm trying to get a practical car (mpg, insurance cost, initial cost, reliability) or a car that will make me happy th...

re: Why do people buy/drive trucks? - PrayingMantis
Wrong. Half of you were too butt hurt to even answer the question. The other half explained why they need a truck like having a boat and there isn't anything wrong with that...

re: Why do people buy/drive trucks? - PrayingMantis
I'm not talking to the few people who use a truck as intended so calm down. I'm mainly talking to the demographic who gets an expensive fully loaded truck that is then afraid to wear muddy shoes in it and get a scratch on it. Or the people who spend thousands to lift it so then you sacrifice comfort...

re: Why do people buy/drive trucks? - PrayingMantis
Again some of those points could be true but a car in that same price range will beat a truck in all those categories. A civic cost >20k and that doesn't factor in insurance, gas, and upkeep. ...

re: Why do people buy/drive trucks? - PrayingMantis
It is an amazing car for the price, it's faster than Mustang, Challenger, 370z etc, it looks great in my opinion, and I am scared of the upcoming fuel economy regulations because these cars might not be here in ~10 years ...

re: Why do people buy/drive trucks? - PrayingMantis
A vehicle that weighs more has a harsher ride 95% of the time. It also applies to handling too. Couple that with all the weight is in the front and the wieght is higher up than a car. And of course a 5.0L V8 with ~400 hp can leave a civic. The camaro has its trade offs like a truck does but in retur...

re: Why do people buy/drive trucks? - PrayingMantis
So half you truck nuts spend $50k+ on a truck and don't see all the other options? I would get a Colorado and sports car and probably still spend less. Maybe get a luxury sedan...
