What are the board's thoughts on the kid from Duke, Brandon Ingram? The word is he has a high basketball IQ and is a SF who can shoot. Just needs to get stronger.

I'm not expecting to end up with any draft choices, btw.

Obviously not saying he's going to be as good, but he reminds me of Durant

He's just long and ultra lean like Durant. And his shot can be great.

I don't think he's as good a defender as George was but that's a decent comparison.

Are there any alpha dogs, that's what this team really needs, a starting level player that is going to get in people's face when they don't do their job. I remember one of Jason Smith's first games here CP3 got knocked down and Smith was just standing around a few feet away and CP3 went off on him out for not picking him up. AD would just pick himself up and not say anything.

I'm not saying I want a Diva, but they do need an alpha dog. I'm actually not afraid of that Tyreke for Rondo swap. Mostly because he's an expiring, but Tyreke for Rondo alone probably doubles our on court BBIQ, he reportedly does crazy film work which would set a good example for all the kids. Yeah he's reportedly an arse to everyone, but this group might need a driven a-hole.

Qpon should help when he's back

QPon will help on many levels, but he's a butt slapper and chest bumper, not an alpha dog.

Rondo seems to love, or did a year ago, Erman too.

Rondo Calls Erman "Baby Thibodeau"

What would be our starting lineup/rotation?

If we get rid of eg, Tyreke, and ryno and somehow got mclemore, Morris, and rondo this team comp would look pretty solid.

Starters: Rondo-McLemore-Qpon-AD-Asik
Bench: jrue-cole-cunningham-morris-ajinca

Rondo is a nutcase and potential cancer, but if he becomes rondo of Boston running a gentry offense he will be a 10/6/12 type player again. Perkins can and will keep him in check imo. He's smart and runs an efficient offense, but he's someone who hustles for every rebound and defends exceptionally well when he wants to. The question is which rondo do you get.

Right now it seems we'd need to pick in the top 2. He and Simmons are quickly being locked at the top spots. With our standings trending away from that.... we should pay more attention to

Guards: Jamal Murray, Kris Dunn, Melo Trimble, Furkan Korkmaz
Small forward: Jaylen Brown
Centers: Jakob Poeltl, Skal Labissiere

or... GULP.... trading the pick (doubtful)
I don't buy Buddy Hield's move up, nor do I think we'll take a big Euro PF.

Not a fan. I believe we will look at Timothe Luwawu if we are out of the top 5-7. Also don't believe in Skal.

The FRENCHMAN! Looking deep! i like it. Skal is sliding, but we can't ignore him if we are picking below 6.

Still no interest in Skal. He doesn't rebound. His agility is not as good as I thought originally. He has low iq. He is super weak. I actually think he will stay another year in school because of how terribly he is thought of right now. I think I would rather Zhou Qi (the Chinese center) at this point. He's soft and not the best rebounder either, but he has much better feel and a 7'6" wingspan with a Rudy Gobert standing reach. He's a bean pole and a couple years away from contribution, but he's young and putting on weight with a good shot and nice passing instincts.

Dude pointed out to AD he fricked up floor spacing by not cutting into open paint in like his first game as a Pel. QPon is about as close to Alpha Dog as we got.

If Aaron Holiday declares for the draft this year we should take him in the second round. He pushes the pace really well in UCLA and has Marcus smart level defensive energy.

Plus I want an eventual starting backcourt of Holiday and Holiday!

I can see it now
"You don't get to take the holidays off when you play in Nola"

I'm sure Joel and David would have much better puns than that though
