Speights is currently on a 3/11mil contract. If you think he's going to make "3-4" times less than Asik, you need to go back to the drawing board.

He has a player option for '15-'16 of 3.8mil and a salary of 5.7mil in '16-'17 if he opts in. If he opts in, it is all moot point. If he opts out, that means his new contract value is worth at least 9.5mil over 2 years. For someone to turn that down on a 67 win team, some team has to be willing to overpay him by at least 3+mil over the life of 2 years. Meaning his average salary would be 6-7 million for a guy that only played >20mpg once in his career and put up 9/6 while playing 22 MPG which was coincidentally the year ZBo missed a ton of games. Assuming Asik's value is 8-10mil, the difference isn't much for someone that is a far worse offensive player, but a far better rebounder and an overall better defensive center.

Also, most of Speights shots are from 16<3pt range (41.3%) while 31.3% come from inside 3ft. He's an ideal replacement for Ryno and Ajinca.

You'd have to really hope Ryno shows up at home. He may be untradeabale this summer if he keeps shitting the bed in the playoffs. But if we get Home Split Ryno, maybe.

Where you seeing this?
he's making 3.6 this year. He has a team option of $3.8 for next year. He was signed using the MLE. LINK

He's not going to get anything more than he's already making. If they don't keep him, he'll sign somewhere for 3-4 million again, if that. If Asik goes for 12 million that's 3-4 times more.

Ryan will definitely need to be a good bit better but I have hope.

I was thinking Sacramento because of the local draw for them with Ryno. Plus I feel like that owner would jump at the opportunity to have more marketing schemes haha (all speculation)

5.7 mil is his cap hold for the 16-17 season.

Just put Asik on the jugs machine all off-season. Asik literally needs to do nothing but learn how to catch all off-season. I don't ever want to see Asik even take a dribble next season, just learn how to catch, slam, and get endurance up.
Thank you. All I want him to do is catch the ball.
