Looks like Bally's id about $20 per month and that the lower level of NBA LP is $14.99. Is there any difference? They have a one team option on LP but it seems like most people are getting the Bally's subscription. Anybody have any experience here?

Bally’s won’t be blacked out. LP will be black out if you are in the local market. That’s my understanding.

Yes, an important distinction is League Pass is for viewers outside of the 75 mile local viewing area and Bally’s is for the local viewers. If you’re local you’ll need a VPN hiding your location to watch the Pels on League Pass.

If I live in Mobile, can I get Bally’s streaming and watch? Apparently league pass is blacked out for Pelicans games in Mobile.

I live outside the viewing area but was able to get the Pels league pass on Amazon for $89 for the year.

Wait, league pass is only blacked out for 75 miles?

ETA: it’s more than 75 miles, I live in Lafayette and I’m blacked out.

Does a VPN actually work? I live in the 75 mile radius but would much rather league pass than Bally's

As of last year it works. I payed about $13 a month for my VPN last year. I also bought an India full league pass for a one time $20 price.

There is rumors that the NBA and maybe some India legislation put a stop to this but I have not seen that confirmed yet.

I live in Shreveport and I cannot get Pels, Mavs, or Rockets games on League Pass. I have DirectTV Stream so I can watch the games, but this whole setup is only making it harder to build up fanbases, unless you are are fan of the Lakers, Warriors, Knicks, or Celtics.

I literally live in new orleans and can't watch at home because sinclair wants $20 for one channel and league pass tries to force me into it.

this shite is absurd and is why I won't give a shite about pirating every away game.

For those considering LP or the Team Pass you can enter your zip code in the "Blackout Notice" before purchasing and it will tell you which teams/channels will be blacked out in your area.

I live in Dallas so will probably just end up getting the Team Pass.

Can you buy noAl non-Indian league pass and then set the VPN to another state to watch this year?

Can someone explain to me like I’m 5? :)

- I Live in Birmingham
- use YoutubeTV

I see that I can add nba league pass in the settings of my account for $100.

Is there ANY reason I hit ‘buy’ on this and then not able to see the Pels tonight or any night?

League Pass was designed for out of market fans like you. It will detect your location from your internet connection and tell you what teams are blacked out before you sign up. I would think in Birmingham the Hawks might be the most likely blackout if there are any for you.

One exception are the national games on TNT/ESPN will be blacked out.

same for Lake Charles. it's so goddamn stupid. I could almost get Houston, but Dallas? It's like they don't want people to see their product. frick them, frick Bally, frick the league.

ETA Also frick that lame arse joke I made. Read the all caps WIKSF thread and got hype and way out over my skis. Lol

So there’s a dozen sites to get NFL games for “free” but not one for the Pelicans?
