It's probably not as bad as everyone is letting on. I googled non-displaced fracture and it's apparently not that bad (what do I know though, I had to google it ). But the fact that he needs his hand to play it may keep him out for a little while. Plus there's the possibility of a nagging injury for the rest of the season. That's what I'm really worried about.

I think it'll be a month to 6 weeks, just based on myself having the same injury a year ago. Having said that it's not real painful after about a week, he could tough it out but he would risk fully breaking it

All i know is this frontcourt is getting shat on without AD. It seems like it should heal with a simple splint. I hope it's not a rivers-like injury

Nondispaced is fancy word for hairline fracture. I'd guess 4-6 weeks at the least though. Had a hairline circular fracture in my ankle back in the day and mine was 6-8 weeks before being able to run on it.

Redick has a hand fracture and a torn elbow ligament and is out 6-8 weeks. You'd think that would be a worse case scenario for Davis.

Had a hairline fracture to the outside edge of my right hand below the little finger (meta-carpal?)after being stupid in a bar while in college. Didn't hurt after a couple of days, but I had to wear a splint for about four weeks as I recall. I got to be pretty good with the left hand for my most important pastime, I have to say . . .
