Just found out he's coming to Lake Charles on March 2nd. I've never seen him live and I'm considering going. Does he still put on a pretty good show?

If you want to say you've seen Willie Nelson live before then I guess it's an ok show... Is it worth it to pay $100 ish for any musician that's 82 years old?

This would be the reason to go...his best shows are behind him, but if you haven't seen him and enjoy his music you may want to catch him in LC.

I saw him in Laffy like 3 years ago when he was travelling with his family and he went 90 minutes straight thru. Vocals sounded good and he was playing Trigger like a boss.

Might as well notch one off the list, but you aren't going to enjoy it. The man is basically a corpse up there.

He's had the issue of 'fast singing' for years now. Basically he is not on note - always ahead. To say you've seen him, sure.

Saw him last March in New Braunfels and he was incredible. Sounded like he was 30.
I guess it depends on his "pregame" activities.

If you've never seen him go. I've seen him several times over the years. Saw him in Memphis 1 or 2 years ago and he is now too old. He sings fast, he sings ahead of his band a half-step, not in sinc, not together in timing, it's off. If you know that ahead of time, you'll live with it and accept it,but he's off timing with the music. Sings the words ahead of the music just a little.

One of few artists that hasn't lost his voice-sounds true to his records. No thrills or highlights, just an ordinary show, but fun nonetheless.

They are probably a few years younger but Paul McCartney and Mick Jagger were worth it. I'm a little worried about seeing Robert Plant but for less than $100 I'll take a chance.
