Weezer... but haven't paid much attention to them since the 90s...
I know who blink 182 is, but trying to think of a song by them and I can only come up with the one with the prank calls...

Of course its Weezer. Blue and Pinkerton are albums for the ages. Blink had some great songs for the period they were successful in. You can't compare the two.

But I think blink-182's album that came out in July is better than anything Weezer has done in about a decade.

Blink 182. Weezer has been hot garbage longer than they've been decent. All of Blink 182's music is consistently good, even the new stuff without Tom Delonge. While Weezer has a lot of gems in there (Sweater Song, My Name is Jonas), there's so so so much garbage to wade through.

Not a huge fan of either, but I'd say Blink 182. I enjoyed Dude Ranch and EOTS.

Blink-182 has sold a total of 13 million albums in the United States and 50 million worldwide, they've won 18 awards out of 29 total nominations, every album they've released since Dude Ranch reached the top ten on the pop album charts, 2 reaching no. 1, and they've only released 7 albums total in their career so that's commendable efficiency. They're widely cited as bringing pop punk into the mainstream as well. By contrast, Weezer has not even approached those sales figures both domestically or internationally, they haven't won many awards, they've released more albums than Blink-182, and they've achieved 0 no. 1 albums. Therefore, Blink-182 is better than Weezer. Case closed.
