Pink Floyd (David Gilmour) - Comfortably Numb (Pulse version is #1 for me)
Jimi Hendrix - All Along the Watchtower
Ledzep - Stairway to Heaven (one of my least favorite songs by them, but its iconic)
Lynyrd Skynyrd - Free Bird
Van Halen - Eruption
Ozzy (Randy Rhoads) - Crazy Train
SRV - Texas Flood
Jimi Hendrix - Voodoo Child
Queen - Bohemian Rhapsody (would not be near my top 10, but undeniably iconic)
Derek and the Dominoes (Clapton/Allman) - Layla

Comfortably Numb, All Along the Watchtower, Texas Flood, Elizabeth Reed, Sultans of Swing, Prince live at Rock and Roll hall of fame performing While my guitar gently weeps...

These would be some favorites for me that come to mind.

The two that anyone anywhere would most easily identify -
Sweet Child 'O Mine - GNR
Hotel California - Eagles

My current favorite is the outro solo from Ryan Adam's "The Shadowlands." It starts at 3:30, but I feel like you really have to hear it in context to appreciate it. (I've also decided this is the guitar tone I've been looking for my whole life.

For me it will always be Duane and Dickey trading licks on Blue Sky. Gives me chill bumps and improves my mood just thinking about it.

So "iconic" apparently means "If I hear that goddamn song one more time I'm gonna fill my ears in with wood putty"?

Iron Maiden - Afraid to Shoot Strangers ... at the 3:30 mark to about 5:30 is epic. 3 different solos that kill

Iron Maiden - Fear of the Dark 4:02 mark starts it and it goes till about 5:30. I could list many IM songs, but these two have always stuck with me.

GNR- Estranged this song is loaded with greatness throughout. Slash's best work IMO

Maybe not "iconic" but IMO Jimi - The Wind Cries Mary & Boston - Hitch a Ride are at or near the top.

Honerable Mention: Allman Brothers - Soulshine, Led Zeppelin - Stairway
