My older bother saw both tDSM in 72' and the Wall in 80'. He always talked how he was blown away by them, especially the Wall. One of the craziest things he's ever seen was the building of the wall during the concert. After awhile, the audience couldn't see PF on stage, only listen to them. Which of course was the intent.

Master of Puppets-era Metallica would have been incredible.

Yeah the wall is completely built by intermission, half way through the show. The really cool thing to me was how they projected textures and things onto the wall. The wall itself is made out of a bunch of white cardboard blocks. Just a bunch of boxes really. But the brick pattern is projected onto the blocks by a projector system in the ceiling. Somehow the projector knew when a new block was added because shortly after it was put in place, the projector would illuminate the new block with the brick texture (and other things at various points in the show). The projector would never try to shine on a block that wasn't there yet.

I saw Van Halen in their prime. They were awesome.

I would love to take a time machine to 1969 and see The Who at Woodstock. They played for three or four hours.

Led Zeppelin

Easy choice for me.

Seeing Robert Plant a few weeks ago was the closest I'll ever get to that. Ugh.

How was he? I envy you so much becuase hes at the top of my bucket list of concerts. I would give my left nut to see him perform in pompei this summer. I think they said it's the first concert there since the gladiators last fought.

It was my first concert. I missed Iron Maiden (Somewhere on Tour) and was just sick. Couldn't get tickets.

Went to see Ozzy (Jake was my hero)...and came away a changed boy...when they ripped into Battery...oh man you never forget your first time.

And the heartbreak of the black album...i never got over it, really.

ETA: for me, it would be The Bizzard of Ozz band.

Hands down.
Blizzard and Madman track by track...with Bob on bass and Kerslake on drums. I could deal with seeing the tour band with Sarzo and Aldridge, but I want to hear the composers play it as intended.

To see Randy Rhoads wield the Sandoval V

would be the equivalent of seeing Arthur with Excalibur.

Really tough, but I'll go Allman Brothers with Duane, followed very, very closely by Talking Heads.
