The Allman Brothers Band, next to last closing show at the Fillmore. Allegedly a 4.5-5 hour show that ended long after the sun came up. Can't imagine tripping in myco-space only to walk out of the venue to see a busy New York morning.

ETA: Second choice is the Dead at RCMH Halloween 1980.

This was the first thing that came to mind.

Seeing Jerrbear in the 70s-80s would be a close 2nd.

Floyd circa 1980.

Really anything post-'73 would suit me fine but 1980 would also give me the WYWH, animals, and Wall catalogue as well.

I love floyd but I'd have no interest in seeing them pre-68.

I've never been all that big a syd fan and I have to imagine a show would be a total gamble considering he might just stand there for 2 hours staring blankly and not even hold his guitar.

That's why I said 1967 before he really went off the rails in 68. While he was in the psychedelics in 67, some of the smaller club performances were legendary. I'm a bigger Dave Gilmour fan.

Probably Pink Floyd, either DSM or Wall concert. From what I've heard, these were incredible concerts.

obviously it's not the same as the "real thing", but I saw Roger Waters The Wall tour in atlanta in 2010 and it blew me away. The production, theatrics, stage setup, everything...it was incredible.

That it was! I almost didn't go when it came to Denver but at the last minute I paid a small fortune for 6th row seats on StubHub. Would do it again. I also went to the Waters DSOM show and if I only saw them perform Set the Controls for the Heart of the Sun it still would have been worth it. Two absolutely amazing shows.
