I've had a CDR copy of a bootleg recording of this show for years and have only skimmed through it a couple of times. Worst sound quality I've ever heard. You can barely even tell which song they're playing at any given time.

Bs. The first song is scratchy. The rest sounded fine

me, too. camped out to get tickets. Jimmy Page had an injured finger, but I don't recall any dropoff. of course the sangria we drank may have had something to do w/ that, too.

What are you talking about? How would you know what my bootleg sounds like?

There is a George Harrison Dark Horse show floating around as well. Many called it the Dark Hoarse tour because his voice was shot the whole tour.

I wasn't at that show, but was at the show in 1977.

Myself as well, the Presence Tour!! It took me 4 hours to reach the ticket window in sleet and freezing rain. Some cool cat had his speakers in the windows of his dorm in Tiger Stadium across the street blaring LZ music the entire time. Good memories indeed!!

In.
We took I-12 from Covington to Baton Rouge ... no big deal, except the Interstate wasn't open yet. We're so lucky to still be alive.

Thanks for taking me back. Still have the ticket stub in the LSU yearbook. For the time the tickets were outrageously expensive... $7.50

I was there, I also taped the whole show, I need to get out the old tapes to compare the sound quality. On the clip I just heard, you could tell the tape was 'off' you can hear loops. One thing the tape showed that I remember from the show was that Plant had bad throat trouble that night. Really makes you realize how hard it is for singers, especially ones that scream or hit high notes, how hard it is on the voice, especially when you do shows back to back nights. As an example, I saw Soundgarden in the 90's 5 times- at least 3 of those shows Chris Cornell's voice was shot.
