Interview and full album streaming here

Anyone else give it a listen yet? A little heavy, but I enjoyed it. Pretty solid work for Isbell IMO. Any different thoughts or opinions?

Posting from phone, but is Live Oak on it? Heard it for the first time the other day and it's probably my favorite Isbell track to date

Live Oak is on it. Damn good song. The opening lyrics are awesome. I'd quote if I wasn't on a phone.

At night, they go out to dinner or host friends, including fellow songwriters Justin Townes Earle and Cory Branan, for a meal and a mean game of Scrabble. “We’re pretty competitive,” Isbell says. “That’s what you get when you put a bunch of songwriters together.”

his label may not hate spotify and have some sway in the decision?

went ahead and bought the album. very well done, as many of you know from streaming.

And why would you hate spotify?

I always end up listening to the same old standards on it, have trouble branching around and finding shite I haven't heard before.

I don't hate spotify in itself I guess, I hate my friends / people always telling me to get spotify and how awesome it is, etc.

Same reason I hate baseball, it would be fine if I didn't have friends who had to watch every single braves game at my house.
