The Cult was great but you could tell the crowd wasn't there to see them. I would really like to see them in a place like the Tabernacle.

Question about tickets.....

My buddy bought 2 tickets through ticket galaxy a month or so ago...googled ticketmaster and ticket galaxy came up and he didn't even realize it. Anyway, TG claims that the tickets have not yet been released by the venue and he cannot print them until Saturday morning??? Anyone else ever hear of this? Also, just spoke to someone who bought on StubHub and they are having the same issue??

Greatly looking forward to the show man. One of my favorite bands ever to listen to, and I never thought I would get the chance to see them. 3 more days and I'm ready to roll.

Great show last night in Atlanta. The band was pretty high energy and the crowd was really into it. Axl sounded great and you could tell he was really into it. I thought it was really awesome watching him look around at the end of songs and seeing how big his eyes would get when he would see and hear how much the crowd was loving the show. It was almost like he was looking for approval after each song and then being thrilled when he got it.

Slash is just a badass and the epitome of a rock star and Richard Fortus compliments him well.

Duff sounded great. His backing vocals along with those of Melissa Reese complimented Axl's vocals perfectly!

I was skeptical of the drummer Frank going into the show, but he was really on last night. I have a completely different opinion of him now.

All in all it was one of the best concerts I've ever been to. I definitely got my monies worth. I was a little disappointed I didn't get to see the Cult, but that's because the T shirt and beer lines in the Georgia dome were insane. Between the two lines I probably spent an hour waiting before I ever got to my seat. For those going to the show in New Orleans this weekend, you are in for a treat.

There are probably over 1,000 tickets on stubhub. They have terrace tickets for $40 and some in the lower parts for about $75. I wonder how low they will go. You would think there would be a fire sale soon.

They have some on Ticketmaster in the lower bowl corner for as low as $20. Granted, it's not the best of views being under the overhang, but it's ideal for someone who just wants to get in without spending a lot.

I should have mentioned as an FYI, but to get into the Georgia dome you couldn't have purses or bags bigger than 4x6 inches. This led to a huge crowd of people trying to check their bags and purses in to pick up after the show. There was a tent set up outside the venue for it. I don't know if any restrictions like this will be in effect for entering the super dome, but if you're taking your wife or SO, she should leave her purse in the car. It will save you standing in line before and after the show.

Sounds like they are just enforcing the NFL stadium policies with the bags. Thanks for the heads up though, I'm sure it'll be more of the same at the Superdome.

Any idea what time they will actually start playing? Figure 9:15-9:30 is a good estimate?

At the Atlanta show, the Cult went on at 8 and played 45 minutes to an hour. Guns came onstage about 20 minutes later. I would guess anywhere between 915 and 930. They have been very punctual throughout this entire tour.

Edit: according to the time stamps on the pics I took, the band took the stage just after 930.

The show usually starts around seven
We go on stage around nine
Get on the bus about eleven
Sippin' a drink and feelin' fine
