Just about every Lollapalooza I ever went to, I hardly stayed through the headlining at the end of the day.
I think it was the 2nd Lollapalooza that came to NOLA. Rage Against the Machine opened. Great lineup after them, but it really was all downhill from there!

I saw Soundgarden open for Skid Row in 1992. But I didn't leave after Soundgarden played.

Me and some friends went to see Queensryche open for AC/DC in '86 at UNO. We liked AC/DC just were not that into them, and were all huge Queensryche fans.
You're lucky to have seen Queensryche on the Rage For Order tour.

I am.
Great concert. Met Chris DeGarmo after they finished while AC/DC was getting ready to come on, he came out to talk to people by the mixing board, and nobody but my group knew who he was.

I saw that tour in 1975. They played the Cow Palace on my 16th birthday. Had a blast that night. Must have been about 20 of my high school classmates at the concert together. My older brother gave me a quarter gram of coke and some killer Jamaican weed because he felt guilty for abandoning my birthday party to go on a double date with some chicks and his best friend that they got nowhere with.
That was a great summer. I saw Ten Years After and Black Sabbath at Winterland on different nights as well.

2009 Went to see JJ Grey and Mofro, they were the opening act for Gomez at The Warehouse here in Houston. It was in the small room, not the large section. JJ only got to play about 6 songs, and then Gomez came on. We were right on the front and stage was real small. Gomez sucked and we left after two songs.

So many bands back in the day... it was probably half and half
probably the last time I did this was to see Oakley Hall open up for Bright Eyes... after OH, we left...

Saw Stone Temple Pilots when they opened for Aerosmith in NO. Left as soon as Aerosmith started that dreadful song from Armageddon.

went to see Eagles of Death Metal at the House of Blues and didn't even realize they weren't headlining. They were opening for Peaches who I hadn't heard of before that night. Awesome show overall. Deadboy and the Elephantman opened for both.
