Trying to convince my wife that we need one of these for the living room. I don't have a great surface for a turntable out there but this would work lovely on the mantle of small shelf next to the Marantz.

This table goes against every advancement that turntable manufacturers have made in the last 50 years. I would imagine it would not sound all that good.

Yeah upon further thought it has a bunch of flaws. Speakers built in are just the start.

Picked up Leon Bridges debut album today.

Just an update... speakers are in and got my setup sounding better. I still have to do a little rearrange for the sake of aesthetics and wiring. Don't worry... speakers will not be on the same shelf as the turntable!
Promised myself I wouldn't buy any vinyl until I had my setup going. Will likely purchase the Leon Bridges album- looking for something new to jam.

Yeah I actually meant to bump this thread last week. Bought the American Beauty remaster from Grateful Dead. Comes on a Red White and Blue swirl vinyl. Great album.
