Seems the people that put the Oscars on each group has caved as well. They've called for change in the voting process.

they should do what my high school did for homecoming. each grade had a white and black list so you had a black 8th grader and a white 8th grader win. everyone was happy. it was stupid but everyone was happy.

I'm just gonna say that I'd be disappointed if Chris Rock were to pull out.
I feel like this whole situation makes for easy material for him.

At this point, we're pretty much assured that every fricking acceptance speech will be about this.

50 Shades of Black will be up for best picture next year. Book it.

Why would Chris Rock drop out? This is a perfect opportunity for him to bash white people.

What about latino actors and asian actors and so on? Latinos make up a higher percentage in the country than blacks yet it's always about catering to the blacks.
As a professional I don't understand how they wouldn't feel as though winning in that fashion would not be tainted. Also, isn't there already the BET awards to deal with this?

Whites should boycott going to the movies

I'm going to boycott watching the Oscars until they show people from Louisiana in a positive light. We are not all the Waterboy. I'm not a caricature.

Others defended Dash, pointing out that Morgan Freeman has also criticized Black History Month.
“Ridiculous,” Freeman told Mike Wallace on “60 Minutes” in 2005. “You’re going to relegate my history to a month? What are you going to do with yours? Which month is white history month?”
“How are we going to get rid of racism until—” Wallace began.
“Stop talking about it,” Freeman said. “I’m going to stop calling you a white man. And I’m going to ask you to stop calling me a black man. I know you as Mike Wallace. You know me as Morgan Freeman. You’re not going to say, ‘I know this white guy named Mike Wallace.’ Hear what I’m saying?”

Latinos and Asians?
Ohhhh. You mean the people that immigrate to this country, keep their heads down, work their asses off, provide for their families, better their communities, and provide a net positive to society?
They don't bitch complain and riot as large groups over absolutely nothing on a monthly basis.

I think they should create a black category (best black supporting male etc. etc.)for each existing category.

Someone should ask these people which nominee should be excluded so that their favorite black actor can get a nomination. Tell them to name one, so tehy can have a Kanye/Taylor Swift moment in which even the President calls them a "jackass."
And what black performance deserves a nomination this year? It ain't Will fricking Smith in Concussion, but given the loony, delusional arrogance of his kids, he and his angry bitch wife probably think his exclusion is a crime.

I don't understand how this statement can be true whenever he said this about 2 other races:

Just include Tyler Perry in every category. Problem solved.
