You would think that at this point they would know not to do this shite again.

I loved it personally. It isn't perfect but it worked for me and that's saying something.
Officially, they have said this is the first of a new trilogy although I expect this will be the last one at a park. I really expect the start of the next movie to start with raptors being deployed into caves in Afghanistan so we can get some Dino eating terrorist action.
Also, Chris Pratt has already said he will be back.

This movie was badass.

So it don't suck? Thought about watching it, but as I get older, my patience for shitty movies is wearing thin. Less time left and shite I guess. Just need solid reviews. Don't wanna waste anytime. I'll hold the reviewer 100% liable.

The movie was shite but it was hugely successful because of the franchise.
So, no.
You are on to something, though. It's a shame that these idiots can make shitty movies, driven by the bottom line. This convinces them that they are making good movies, though they actually suck. As a result, there is really no end in sight to the shitty franchise movies.

I think it was a great send off to the franchise with all of the easter eggs and throw backs to the original and the mea culpa of Jurrasic Park 3 slipped in there.
The next movies (and they will be there) are just going to jump the shark plot wise.

The next one should be about a competitor who had a test facility in the Nevada desert. Things go bad and the dinosaurs get loose and invade Vegas. A super team of Pratt, Malcolm, and Grant are called in to save the day.
