It is. Knew it was Evil Morty 5 minutes in, but I didn't know which one was actually Evil Morty until the debate and still thought the cop Morty could be him and they would twist it somehow

I figured it out when they really first mentioned him that he didn't have a chance, but the Ricks still felt it was precious that he was running anyway. Does that sound familiar to anyone?

I thought there was some pretty overt social commentary going on in this one, particularly on the classism that affected the last election and the racism that sometimes comes with it.

It's subtle enough where it doesn't bother me. Both it and Bojack did it classy enough. It's just when you let that message consume a season like South Park did is when it pisses me off, although I do think the DCEU would have benefited with Trump running in mind given how much they fricked up Lex Luthor and made him Mark Zuckerberg and not Elon Musk.

Also, did anyone notice the two Ricks that were spared by Evil Morty: Steve Jobs Rick and Elon Musk Rick.

Just finished my rewatch. So many things I missed the first go around.

"I thought I was left handed Morty"
"Then you should use your left hand to eat more vegetables"

Hopefully Roland keeps Harmon from going off the deepend.

IDK, the citadel episode was def good, but this season as a whole is the weakest by far.

The return of evil morty was already built in and we knew it was coming. That was a softball episode, the rest are mediocre at best. Season started off very weak and gradually got better, but it's still miles behind 1&2.

True, but there are three more episodes left. The citadel episode just proves that the show still can reach the high levels it has hit before.
For whatever reason, this season has not lived up to that billing often enough.

I just started watching this show this season and I like it a lot.

Either the previous seasons are amazing or you guys are just a bunch of whiny bitches. Or both.
